Reusing Glass Bottles to Make Lamps: UTREM LUX by Degross Design

UTREM LUX is the name of a sustainable design project by Degross Design & Innovation that takes old glass bottles and reuses them to make lamps.

The bottles, which had been discarded behind their studio have been individually handcrafted into something entirely new. They even used wood offcuts given to them by our next-door neighbors W. Hanson wood merchants and used them in the designs as well.

UTREM LUX was presented at Designersblock during the London Design Festival.

Tip: Convierte una revista en un parlante para el iPhone

Muchas veces nos quejamos de el poco sonido que bota nuestro iPhone, pues ahora existe una forma de aumentar el sonido de tu iPhone sin gastar dinero.

Para ello necesitas una revista que ya no te sirva, trata que sea de tapa un poco dura, como cartulina. Ahora con una tijera le hacemos unos cortes en la tapa de la revista, siguiendo la forma del iPhone, listo ya tendremos nuestro parlante para el iPhone.

Este truco lo hizo Coca Cola en Brasil que lanzaron una campaña junto a la revista Capricho para convertir la revista en un parlante para el iPhone.

Como ven, el truco les funcionó y aunque no tenemos la revista Capricho en nuestros países veremos que funciona con cualquier tipo de revista.

Así que ya saben como hacer un parlante para el iPhone con una revista.
